I love this tall deep blue Monkshood, I have found that growing it in too much shade makes it weak & spindly so have moved it into a sunny position with the ground around it kept cool & also protected from that burning summer westerly sunshine. I think basically it needs a lot of good light to remain upright & happy. Height around 1.4m. Moist, well drained, lightly shaded position. Morning sun & afternoon semi-shade also works well. Flowering sized rhizome.
