Astilbe is a clump forming plant that likes a semi-shaded moist position. They look great naturalised around ponds either in the ground or in large pots. If you have soil that is sandy just add some coir peat & humus when planting, this will help your plants to establish faster......absolutely great planted on mass. Height around 60cm.
